At Spirion, acting as data controller within the meaning of European Regulation no. 2016-679 of 27 April 2016 and of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, we are committed to protecting your personal data.

1. SCOPE

This policy explains how we use your personal data through our websites www.service-smtp.fr and www.service-smtp.eu. It applies to any processing carried out by Spirion on the personal data of customers or prospects.

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

What data do we process?

  • For commercial prospecting: company name, name, business telephone number, contact email
  • For demo account registration: company name, name, business telephone number, contact email
  • For final registration: company name, name, business telephone number, contact email, IP address
  • For account management and performance of the contract: company name, name, business telephone number, contact email, billing address, orders and invoices
  • For the security of the customer area: connection logs (date, time, IP address, operations carried out)

How do we collect your data?

We collect your data through our contact and registration forms, and when you use the customer area.

3. PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA

We process your data for a lawful and legitimate use based on:

  • Carrying out commercial prospecting operations (legitimate interest, retained for 2 years)
  • Responding to your requests for information and for contact
  • Managing the websites and internal technical operations
  • Managing the customer account, performing and monitoring the contract (performance of the contract)
  • Issuing invoices and complying with our accounting obligations (legal obligation)
  • Security of the customer area, prevention and detection of unauthorised access (legitimate interest)

4. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

We may pass on your data to providers and processors for:

  • IT services necessary for the operation of the websites
  • Hosting services located in France

5. RETENTION PERIOD

  • If a contract has been taken out: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived for 5 years, then destroyed
  • If no contract has been taken out: until the last contact in the context of commercial prospecting

6. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union.

7. DATA PROTECTION

Spirion follows a “Privacy by Design” approach, with appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Cookies used by Spirion

Our websites www.service-smtp.fr and www.service-smtp.eu do not place any cookie. We use no audience measurement, no advertising cookie, no social network cookie and no third-party tracker.

In the customer area, only cookies strictly necessary for the provision of the service are placed:

  • a session cookie, which keeps you logged in during your visit;
  • an account recognition cookie, which saves you from entering your credentials at each login;
  • a trusted device cookie, placed only if you enable two-factor authentication.

How to manage cookies

As these cookies are strictly necessary, they are exempt from consent: no banner is displayed to you and you have no choice to express. You may nevertheless block or delete them from your browser settings, in which case access to the customer area may no longer work.
