More and more ISPs block port 25, the historical email port. Service-smtp offers several alternative ports so your messages get through, whatever the network.

In practice: try 587 with TLS first. If a corporate firewall or a public network blocks it, the other ports take over without changing anything else in your configuration. Full details in the technical features.

The complement to an internal email server

Your company runs its own server (Small Business Server, Exchange, Postfix…)? Service-smtp is its ideal complement as a sending relay: your internal server keeps handling the mailboxes, the relay gets the messages out on reputable French IPs, with SPF and DKIM on your domain.
